How do I trust email verification service with my data?

I recently came across data leak by verifications.io . How can I trust any other services for my data cleaning needs. Verifications.io claimed to be GDPR compliant like every other email verifier does but leaked the data and went down immediately.

Is there any real way to verify email cleaning service if it is a legit one and can be trusted?

Hi that is a very sensible question and what I would recommend is using a tried and trusted Email Verification Provider such as Email Checker, Our environment offers both HTTP and HTTPS endpoints, providing our customers with the option should for any reason, they be unable to use HTTPS. Environment transport is firewalled and SSL secured wherever possible. All our servers are hardened and access to data is restricted by policy. Only authorised server administrators and developers are permitted access to the data, and only then when required to do so as part of an investigation or troubleshooting. Customer data is stored and replicated centrally in the EU, with processing servers dispersed in different regions - EU, US, UK, ZA. Once data has been processed outside of the EU, it is no longer stored and only the results are returned to the EU. Access is username and password protected. Where necessary, data field are encrypted.

Also if you enter CHECKER10 at checkout to receive a 10% discount off your order.
